MIKE TRAMP - Songs of White Lion — Vol. III
Veröffendlichung: 19.09.2025
Esteemed rock vocalist and guitarist MIKE TRAMP is pleased to announce the release of his new album, 'Songs of White Lion — Vol. III,' due out on September 19th via Frontiers Music Srl.
MIKE TRAMP, the unmistakable voice and principal songwriter of White Lion, concludes his heartfelt trilogy with 'Songs of White Lion — Vol. III,' a powerful and deeply personal tribute to one of the most iconic bands of the 1980s melodic hard rock scene.
Tramp speaks on how this series of recordings came together:
"For me, the point of re-recording the old classic White Lion songs was all about letting the audience know HOW the band would sound if they come to see us live. Bringing the sound up today and away from a world no more. When I started with 'Vol. I' I must admit, I never thought I’d do 'Vol. II' and now 'Vol. III.' But having done it all now, makes all the more sense to me. If I have to be active playing White Lion in 2025 and onward, there's got to be a natural progression in every way. That is exactly what this Trilogy is all about.
In this final installment, TRAMP revisits and reimagines ten more essential songs from the White Lion catalog, bringing them back to life with the passion, perspective, and authenticity that only decades of experience can deliver.
Once again backed by his trusted bandmates — Marcus Nand (guitar), Claus Langeskov (bass), and Morten Hellborn(drums) — TRAMP offers fresh but respectful renditions of these classic tracks, capturing their spirit while elevating them with a more refined, seasoned sound.
From the raw defiance of "Fight To Survive," to the cinematic power of "Warsong," and the infectious rhythm of "Radar Love," this album is both a celebration and a reawakening.
Standing as more than a simple re-recording project, 'Songs of White Lion — Vol. III' is the emotional conclusion of a trilogy — a journey through time, memory, and music that connects the past to the present with integrity and fire.
This is not just a tribute, it’s MIKE TRAMP reclaiming and honoring his legacy.

MEINUNG:

Risen Atlantis feat. Frank Beck - Power To The Past
Veröffendlichung: 26.09.2025
Powerhouse metal vocalist Frank Beck is thrilled to announce the debut album of his new project Risen Atlantis, titled “Power To The Past”, and set for release on September 26, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.
Pre-Order “Power To The Past” HERE
Talking about the project, Beck commented: “Alessandro Del Vecchio invited me to record an album for Frontiers after being blown away by my voice. We connected in early 2024 and I told him I wanted to sound different from my work with Gamma Ray - where I've been Kai Hansen’s touring sidekick for ten years. I wanted a grittier, more powerful style in the vein of Ronnie Atkins, Jorn, Jeff Scott Soto, and Dio - and he ran with it. The result is “Power To The Past”, a modern metal album with an '80s spirit”.
Frank Beck is a powerhouse vocalist from Germany, best known for his live performances with German power metal legends Gamma Ray, where he has supported Kai Hansen on stage since 2014.
With a voice that channels the soul and fire of Ronnie James Dio and David Coverdale, Frank Beck brings his commanding vocal presence to the new project Risen Atlantis - and the result is an explosive collection of melodic power metal.
“Power To The Past”, the debut album from Risen Atlantis feat. Frank Beck is a well-crafted tribute to the traditions of classic European power metal. Co-written and produced by Alessandro Del Vecchio and Brett Jones, the album features soaring vocals, epic melodies, powerful riffing, and a sense of grandeur that will please fans of genre legends like Helloween, Gamma Ray, Stratovarius, and Edguy.
From high-octane anthems like “Glory For The Brave” and “Legacy Divine” to the cinematic atmosphere of “Sea Of Tranquillity” and the thunderous title track “Power To The Past”, the album flows with energy and emotion. Frank Beck’s voice soars across every track, breathing life into each lyric and giving the songs a timeless resonance.
“Power To The Past” is more than a debut - it’s a declaration. A revitalized sound rooted in tradition, but delivered with precision, passion, and power.

MEINUNG:
Klassischer Melodic Power Metal...

Glenn Hughes - Chosen
Veröffendlichung: 05.09.2025
Rock legend and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Glenn Hughes is pleased to release his new studio album “Chosen”, out now via Frontiers Music Srl.
To celebrate, Glenn shares the focus track “My Alibi”, along with an official visualizer, available below.
Glenn commented on the new track: “From the start of my career, all the way through, to the present moment, I’ve always had a strong desire to write groove orientated songs. It’s who I am, and I firmly believe that grooves are extremely relevant in all genres of music…”
This year will also see Glenn Hughes busy touring across Europe and South America, with “The Chosen Years” tour. For the full list of dates, please see below and HERE.

Talking about the new album, Glenn stated: “Songwriting is deeply personal to me, and l generally write and record when I have something to say. It’s been nine years since I recorded my last solo album, “Resonate”. There have been recordings and collaborations with other artists, since 2016”.
“When writing “Chosen”, I went back to my life drawing board, writing about the human condition, love, hope, faith and acceptance. I write about how I feel on the inside and not externally. My life is lived from within, in the present moment. It’s an album of soul food, and I’ve never been so grateful, right here, on planet earth. Music is the healer!”, he added.
Vocalist/bass guitarist/songwriter Glenn Hughes is a true original. No other rock musician has carved such a distinctive style blending the finest elements of hard rock, soul and funk. That astonishing voice is his calling card. He's known as a singer's singer. Stevie Wonder once called Glenn Hughes his favorite white singer.
After a nine years hiatus as a solo artist, Glenn Hughes is back with “Chosen”, his brand-new solo record: an album which presents Glenn in his most hard rockin’ fashion. An explosive record that offers Glenn Hughes at its absolute best with a state-of-the-art album, both from a songwriting and production standpoint. A truly captivating return!
Glenn Hughes, a native of Cannock, England, absorbed all kinds of influences, including early British hard rock, the Beatles and, most importantly, American soul and R&B. The sleek Motown sound from Detroit and the gritty Stax/Volt sound from Memphis left their mark on him.
Glenn Hughes first found success in the early '70s with the band Trapeze, before joining Deep Purple in 1973 during a pivotal lineup change that introduced him and David Coverdale to the group. Despite initial scepticism, the revamped band silenced critics with the release of “Burn” (1974), a powerful album that revitalized Purple’s sound and remains a classic.
During this era, the band headlined the iconic California Jam in front of over 300,000 fans, toured the world aboard their private jet The Starship, and released two more studio albums, “Stormbringer” and “Come Taste The Band”, before disbanding in 1976.
Glenn's first solo album “Play Me Out” was released in 1977. He joined former Pat Travers guitarist Pat Thrall to form Hughes/Thrall, which released an acclaimed self-titled album in 1982. Throughout the '80s and '90s, Glenn Hughes made countless guest appearances (both credited and un-credited) as a vocalist, bass guitarist or songwriter on other artists' albums. The endless list includes – among others – Gary Moore, John Norum, Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath.
Since 1992, Glenn has started a prolific solo career with a dozen studio albums where he explored all the different sides of his songwriting and influences: from hard rock to funk and more contemporary sounds. He collaborated – among others – with such musicians as Chad Smith (RHCP), Dave Navarro, John Frusciante and many others.
He also founded or took part in some amazing musical alliances such as California Breed (with Jason Bonham and Andrew Watt), Black Country Communion (with Joe Bonamassa) and The Dead Daisies.
Glenn has collaborated with Robbie Williams on his new single “Rocket”, which was released on May 22nd, 2025. The track also features a collaboration from Tony Iommi and will be the first time Glenn has been featured on a record with Tony since 2005, when they released “Fused” together.
Glenn Hughes has also recently joined forces with Satch Vai, a new collaboration by legendary guitar icons Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, by writing and singing on their new single “I Wanna Play My Guitar”.
“Chosen” Tracklist:
1. Voice In My Head
2. My Alibi
3. Chosen
4. Heal
5. In The Golden
6. The Lost Parade
7. Hot Damn Thing
8. Black Cat Moan
9. Come And Go

FM - Brotherhood
Veröffendlichung: 05.09.2025
British melodic rock legends FM return with their 15th studio album, Brotherhood – a compelling and cohesive statement of the band’s enduring class and creativity. Out now via Frontiers Music Srl, the album is available digitally, on CD and vinyl from https://ffm.to/fmbrotherhood.
The band also share today the focus track “Time Waits For No-One”, along with an accompanying visualizer, available HERE.
Once again delivering their signature blend of hook-laden AOR and blues-tinged hard rock on Brotherhood, FM reaffirms their status as masters of the genre.
Brotherhood showcases a band still at the top of their game, with highlights including the infectious anthem "Living on the Run", the unforgettable anthemic rocker “Don’t Call It Love”, the punchy and powerful "Coming For You", and the emotionally charged "Time Waits For No One" – all tracks that echo the spirit and melodic strength of FM’s early classics yet are unmistakably fresh and vibrant.
The opening track, "Do You Mean It", brings a bluesy, soulful vibe that echoes the Doobie Brothers’ classic “Takin’ It To The Streets” sound, setting the tone for the album. Brotherhood also features one of FM’s most powerful ballads to date, "Just Walk Away" – a beautifully emotional song that highlights the band's mastery of melodic rock. Wrapping up the album is "The Enemy Within", a track that introduces exciting new sonic ideas while retaining the powerful and melodic qualities FM fans love.
Supporting vocals from a female guest choir add warmth and dynamic depth to "Do You Mean It" and "Just Walk Away", perfectly complementing Steve Overland’s consistently exceptional lead vocals.
“I am proud of the new album,” enthuses Overland, “It is one of our strongest song albums to date. It is another milestone, as it’s FM’s 15th album. It’s very well paced and has great variation in song styles throughout. The album’s big ballad, Just Walk Away, is one of our best. I hope our fans feel the same way as we do about Brotherhood.”
Formed in the 80's by the Overland brothers, FM are one of the UK's seminal and respected rock bands. The new album was recorded by FM’s long-standing and beloved line-up including founding members Steve Overland, Merv Goldsworthy, and Pete Jupp, alongside keyboard player Jem Davis and guitarist Jim Kirkpatrick.
To promote Brotherhood, FM will embark on a major UK headline tour in September 2025 with 14 confirmed shows, followed by European dates in early 2026. Visit FM’s official website for tickets.

The Switch - No Way Out
Veröffendlichung: 12.09.2025
Powerhouse newcomers The Switch are excited to announce the release of their debut album “No Way Out”, out now via Frontiers Music Srl.
The focus track “Young Gun”, along with an accompanying visualizer, are also out now.
Tom and James Martin said: “Young Gun” is probably the heaviest track on the album., It's a song about telling your child that the world isn't all sunshine and rainbows, and it can be a very dark place sometimes”.
Watch the official visualizer for “Young Gun” HERE
Check out this EPK about The Switch and the album HERE
Buy/Stream “No Way Out” HERE
Tom and James Martin first heard Bobby singing a song they had written with Eddie LaValle and instantly knew they had to work with him.
James Martin explained: “I rang Tom up one morning after hearing Bobby sing and told him that he was our guy – we knew straight away we had the right combination with him”.
The brothers then asked their long-term friend and musical collaborator Dennis Butabi Borg if he’d like to play bass on the entire album and join the group.
Tom Martin said: “It’s the best work we’ve ever been part of: James and I never had complete control of an album with writing and mix, so it’s completely to our taste”.
Butabi added: “I couldn’t agree more, after I’d heard the first demo there was no doubt that I wanted a part of this excellent cocktail of fun, retro vibes that reminds me of growing up in the 80’s. It’s like steering a Testarossa in the Outrun arcade machine while chewing Juicy Fruits and cranking music on your walkman. This is 100% the kind of feel-good album that the world needs in these times”.
Not only is The Switch a powerhouse group, but the album was written with a theme. Imagine a movie coming out in the 1980’s that gripped the world the same way 80s classics like “Back To The Future” did, but in a parallel universe.
That movie is called “The Switch” and it’s about a band that goes on a US tour, and encounters trouble with an underworld mob. In a cruel twist of fate, the band must swap guitars for deadly weapons and end up in the ultimate fight for survival. It was the biggest movie of 1987 and spawned this huge soundtrack which you can hear on “No Way Out”!
“No Way Out” Tracklist:
1. Danger On The Loose
2. Play The Game
3. Young Hearts
4. Search For Love
5. Hangin’ On To Seventeen
6. No Way Out
